About: The Professional Committee is responsible for the professional development for the entire chapter. The committee caters to all class levels by offering an array of workshops that gives each class level the development it needs. Additionally, the committee plans a large career conference every fall titled “Ready, Set, Grow”. This event gives everyone on campus the opportunity to explore all industries along with ample networking opportunities.

About: The Sponsorship Committee is rooted in connections. Our goal is developing long term relationships with companies to foster a deeper connection with the chapter. By networking, collaborating, and working with these companies, we also foster a mutual benefit of opportunity for both parties in the relationship.
diversity and inclusion

About: The Xi Rho Diversity and Inclusion committee works on creating and maintaining an empowering environment for all its Brothers. Being professional leaders in our lives holds a responsibility to be consciously aware of our surroundings, peers, and co-workers. Alongside collecting academic resources these past few months, we have hosted webinars that practice inclusive recruitment and professional development in the workplace, within our Brotherhood, and amongst our personal lives.
Marketing

About: The marketing committee will help to consistently update Xi Rho’s social media presence to reflect the activities of members of our chapter. We will also facilitate the selection and distribution of Fraternity-related merchandise to ensure that each brother can proudly represent our chapter across GW’s campuses. Our goal for this committee is to demonstrate for future members what it means to proudly display being a member of Delta Sigma Pi.
community service

About: The Community Service committee leads Xi Rho in our mission to give back to our GW and DC communities. The committee plans and encourages the chapter to attend a multitude of service opportunities around the DMV area to support local organizations. The committee’s Philanthropy Week is a bi-annual event that unites our chapter around volunteer work and builds a culture of social responsibility from inside the fraternity.
News & Current Events

About: The News & Current events committee is a great opportunity for brothers to learn more about the business world and recent events. Brothers also get to develop presentation and facilitation skills. This committee is especially helpful for newly initiated Pledges to grow their presentation skills and represent what they want to showcase to our Brotherhood.
Finance

About: The Finance Committee collaborates with our chapter to create both short and long-term plans to enable it to flourish financially. The Finance Committee works with the VP Finance to discuss pertinent financial issues the chapter is facing and create innovative plans for the future. The committee also works with chapter leadership as well as external partners to propose events and initiatives for the chapter to participate in and benefit from in a financially responsible way.
